We wanted to test a classic guilty pleasure, perfect for the air fryer, and a crowd pleaser - the pizza roll. The results here are a bit of a mixed bag with Totino’s and Feel Good Foods showing strength in different areas.
Taste:
Totino’s and Annie’s were very similar in every way except Annie’s sauce had a bit more of a fresh taste vs that still good prego/lunchable taste from Totino’s. The Feel Good pizza rolls really stood out here due to the breading, it was less of a shell and more of a flaky delicious dough, the pepperoni flavor came through more as well.
Nutrition:
All three are pretty similarly unhealthy. Annie’s might be the least unhealthy due to having just a bit less cholesterol per gram whereas Totino’s comes in last by a small margin with the most sodium per gram.
Value:
Totino’s is the clear winner here at half the price of Annie’s and a third of the price of Feel Good Foods.
Verdict:
Feel Good Foods wins if price isn’t a factor but Totino’s is still a classic and probably the best choice if the goal is to treat a bigger group. Annie’s was like Totino’s with slightly better ingredients and the same taste for double the price. Overall, all three have their place with Totino’s and Feel Good Foods coming out on top.
